SPRING UPDATE #1

We’re excited to share a few encouraging updates as we continue moving toward the opening of Bridgeway Christian Academy this August.

CONSTRUCTION UPDATES

First, our first renovation mockups are now complete, and they beautifully capture the heart behind the learning environments we’re creating—spaces designed to foster curiosity, creativity, and Christ-centered formation.

If you’ve had the opportunity to tour the campus in person, you’ve likely seen that these classrooms are undergoing a significant transformation. It’s been exciting to watch the spaces begin to reflect the vision we’ve been sharing with families.

Below you’ll see a before-and-after mockup of our Kindergarten classroom to give you a glimpse of how the space will be transformed in the coming weeks.

On the lower level, our high school learning spaces are beginning to come together as well. Here is a before-and-after mockup as we begin the early stages of that transformation:

This week alone, painters have been refreshing the walls with bright new paint, and carpets throughout are being professionally cleaned. These simple changes have already brought a surprising amount of life and renewal to the classrooms. If you haven’t visited recently, we would truly love for you to schedule an in-person tour and see the progress firsthand.

Staff Hiring Updates

Another encouraging step forward has been the response from educators who feel called to be part of Bridgeway. Our hiring process officially began March 1st, and even before publicly posting our teaching positions, we received 104 website employment inquiries from educators interested in joining the team.

Over the past weeks, we’ve had the privilege of interviewing 41 potential staff members, and our first round of job offers went out yesterday. One thing we quickly realized is just how many wonderful educators there are. It has honestly been difficult knowing we won’t have room for everyone we’ve met. We’ve truly enjoyed getting to know so many of them, and we’re excited to see how God continues to bring together the right team in the coming weeks.

One position we did post publicly was our principal role, which is one of the most important hires for the school this year. That search has also drawn incredible interest, with 114 applications from leaders across the country and throughout the Greater Charlotte area. We have now narrowed the search to a group of finalists and will continue meeting with them in the weeks ahead. We look forward to introducing you to our new principal in an upcoming update.

Marketing Next Steps

On March 15th, we will begin sharing enrollment opportunities with Forest Hill families, which we expect will create another wave of interest.  We are also beginning to market online and through social media.  The response we're receiving has truly blown us away!
