Our Statement of Faith
At Bridgeway, every part of our school—our curriculum, our relationships, our expectations, and our culture—flows out of what we believe to be true about God, His Word, and His design for students. We joyfully partner with families and with the local church, believing the Church is God’s primary community for discipleship, worship, and spiritual growth.
Bridgeway is not a replacement for the church but a ministry partner that supports and strengthens the spiritual formation already happening at home and in the local body of Christ.
Below is what we believe and teach:
The Bible
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God—true, trustworthy, and the foundation for all Christian faith and life. Scripture guides our teaching, shapes our worldview, and directs how we cultivate wisdom and character in our students.
God
We believe in one God who eternally exists as three coequal persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. God is the Creator of all things and the ultimate source of truth.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He rose from the dead, ascended into heaven, and will return again. Jesus is the center of our hope and the model for the kind of character and humility we train students to pursue.
The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit lives in every believer, convicting of sin, guiding into truth, producing spiritual fruit, and empowering a life that honors God. We teach students to understand His work and to grow in daily dependence on Him.
Humanity and Sin
We believe every person is created in the image of God, designed for relationship with Him and with others. Because of sin, people are separated from God and unable to save themselves. This reality shapes our posture of grace, compassion, and humility toward one another.
Salvation
We believe salvation is a free gift of God's grace, received through faith in Jesus Christ alone. Good works, knowledge, or personal effort cannot save us—only Christ’s finished work on the cross. Baptism is a public expression of faith, and we support families and their local churches as students take that step.
The Church
We believe the local church is God’s primary place for worship, discipleship, accountability, and mission. Bridgeway exists to support—not replace—the local church. We partner with parents and churches to reinforce the biblical formation happening in those communities, encouraging every student to be actively involved in a church family.
Eternity
We believe every person will spend eternity either with God through salvation or separated from Him because of sin. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence, reminding us of the urgency and joy of sharing the gospel.
The Mission of Believers
We believe every Christian is called to make disciples and live on mission for Christ in their homes, schools, workplaces, churches, and communities. Bridgeway aims to equip students with both spiritual formation and real-world competencies so they can engage their world with courage, compassion, and conviction.
